Description

A super quick, super easy, super filling, super yummy dinner for those nights when you don’t feel like spending too much time in the kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 2 boxes (about 7 Oz. Each) Macaroni And Cheese
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 can (11 Oz.) Mexican Corn
  • ¾ cups Ketchup
  • ¼ cups Barbecue Sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • 1 Tablespoon Black Pepper

Preparation

Start boiling the water for the mac and cheese, following the instructions on the box.

Brown the beef in a pan; drain. Add the garlic salt, onion powder, oregano, and black pepper (I honestly just add these “to taste,” so feel free to add more or less). Mix together the ketchup and BBQ sauce and add to the beef. Add the corn to the beef mixture and let simmer while you wait for the macaroni to cook.

When the macaroni is done, add the cheese sauce to it (the cheese sauce or powder that comes with the mac and cheese package) and mix well. Then, add the beef mixture to the mac and cheese and mix well. That’s it! Enjoy!

sad to say, hubby and I tried this one tonight and were not fans. it was too sweet. maybe with less ketchup and a spicier bbq sauce?

Probably couldn’t get any less healthy but man was it good and filling!! I was craving a comfort food and was in a fix for time so I tried this out and it turned out so yummy. My husband doesn’t really like regular mac’n’cheese but totally enjoyed this spiced up version. I made enough so that we could box up left overs and make a few meals out of it
