Yummy meatballs that won’t sit like a brick in your stomach.
Mix together the meat, onion, evaporated milk, oats, beaten eggs, garlic powder, and pepper. Make meatballs about 1 1/2 inches in diameter and place them in a single layer in an oven-proof dish.
Meanwhile, mix together ketchup, brown sugar and liquid smoke in a saucepan over medium low just enough to melt the brown sugar in the sauce.
Pour sauce over the meatballs evenly. Place meatballs in a 350 degree oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
