Dont feel like stuffing peppers? Just throw it all together in a pot and serve with some crusty bread!
In a large stockpot, brown ground beef. Toss in the green pepper and onion and sweat about 5 minutes. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, bouillion cube and brown sugar. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 40 minutes.
While simmering, cook white rice. Add to soup and let warm. Serve with a big chunk of crusty bread!
