Jalapeno Popper Burgers

Description
Spicy jalapenos, cool cream cheese, smoky bacon and a toasty roll get this burger ready for a hungry crowd.
Ingredients
- 1-½ pound Lean 80/20 Ground Beef
- Salt And Pepper
- 1 Onion, Chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 6 Kaiser Rolls, Split And Toasted
- 1 package (8 Oz. Size) Cream Cheese, Softened And Sliced Into 1/4" Slices
- 2 Jalapeno Peppers, Sliced Thin
- 6 Apple Wood Smoke Bacon, Cut In Half And Cooked Crisp
Preparation
Preheat grill pan over medium heat.
Divide ground beef into 6 equal portions. Form into patties. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Toss chopped onion on the preheated grill pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and drizzle with oil. Cook for 1 minute.
Add patties to grill pan on top of onions. Cook to desired doneness, about 4 minutes each side for medium. Remove to a plate.
To assemble the burgers, on the bottom half of a toasted kaiser roll place 1 beef patty. Top with 2 or 3 slices of cream cheese, 3 or more slices of jalapeno (depending on how hot you want this to be) and 2 slices of crisp bacon. Top with toasted kaiser roll top.
