This is my favorite topping on ice cream, yogurt and pancakes! I love berries and I refuse to just eat them in the summer!
Place fruit in a pan, add lemon juice (if using sugar, add it here), turn heat up to medium and stir constantly until thick and bubbly, about 7 minutes for fresh fruit and 10 minutes for frozen fruit.
Once cool, add to a jar or bowl and refrigerate! (Do not can this!)
Makes 2 cups.
Calories for 2 Tablespoons: 17, Fat: .01, Potassium: 54, Carbs: 4, Fiber: 1.5, Sugar: 1.5, Protein: .03

Hi, Sorry for the delay, I just saw your comment. I found that Berry Compote last about 3 weeks in the refrigerator.
