A great Mexican twist on Italian stuffed shells.
Boil the shells until they are al dente or to your liking. The filling is enough to fill 15 shells but prepare a few extra in case they break.
To prepare the filling, brown the hamburger meat and add the Wildtree Taco Seasoning and water. Add the drained black beans as the water starts to cook down. After about 20 minutes, the seasoning will thicken as the water cooks down.
Pour the salsa on the bottom of a 9×13 pan. Stuff the shells with the taco meat and beans and place over the salsa. Pour the Wildtree Roasted Tomatillo Sauce over the shells. I used a whole bottle but be sure and adjust to your liking.
Cover and bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle the cheese over the shells. Return to the oven for 15 more minutes until the cheese is melted.
Enjoy!
