My sister gave me this recipe. It’s extremely simple! Try it when you want someone to think you’ve been slaving in front of the stove all day (or at least part of the day)!
Cut the steak into four even sized pieces and add them to a hot greased pan (high heat). Brown on both sides. Once steak is brown, turn the burner down to a medium/low heat and pour the drained cans of tomatoes on top of the meat. Cover. Simmer for an hour to an hour and a half, until tender. When ready to eat, top with grated cheese and cover until melted. Green onions are also good on this! Great with homemade beans and a salad!

We always get a side of beef and I am never sure what to do with the Round steaks. Problem solved! Thanks for the great recipe!
