These meatballs are great as a main dish, appetizer or side.
In a bowl, combine first 6 ingredients. Add beef and mix well. Shape into 1 to 1 1/2 inch balls.
In a large skillet coated with cooking spray, brown meatballs. Drain. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl. Mix and pour over meatballs. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 1 hour.
Great served alone or over rice.

This is one of my family’s favorite meals. We serve the meatballs over mashed potatoes with corn. A high carb meal, but it is a favorite around here.
Alternate methods are to cook the meatballs in the oven or to do a porcupine meatball mush that is not formed into meatballs. They really don’t care which form it is in : )
