Finally, outdoor grilling season is here! I LOVE grilling outdoors. Everything just tastes better and smells better. Plus it feels better! Who doesn’t love being outside around dinner time when the air is cooler and less thick.
Tonight we enjoyed a couple of grilled sirloins, marinated in a sweet honey and balsamic glaze, and topped with blue cheese crumbles. It was kind of fancy for just a regular weeknight!
In a small saucepan, combine vinegar, honey, and soy sauce. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until it reduces and thickens. Set aside and allow to cool. Meanwhile, season both sides of the steaks with salt and pepper. Once cooled, pour glaze over steaks and let marinate for up to 4 hours. Once ready, grill to your liking and top with blue cheese. Enjoy!
