This was a throw-together concoction created to use green beans that took over the family garden. We used them in every other way we could think of, so we tried this and hoped for the best—and got it!
1. Wash and either halve or quarter the red potatoes. Add to a pan of water and boil until just tender.
2. Cut onions into pieces.
3. Wash green beans and snap ends off. Steam green beans with onions for about 10 minutes.
4. Cut ham into pieces and warm in the oven.
5. Place cooked potatoes, steamed green beans, and warmed ham into a large bowl.
6. Add Italian dressing and stir to mix. Add more dressing to taste and desired moistness.
