This recipe is a combination of my mother’s Cajun Meatloaf and my father-in-law’s Sweet Meatloaf.
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Place the ground beef, oatmeal, ketchup, chopped onion, eggs, cayenne, salt, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl.
With your hands, mix the ingredents until well blended. Form the mixture into a loaf and place in a Dutch oven.
Bake for 45 minutes.
While meatloaf is baking, make the sauce. Place ketchup, Heinz 57, brown sugar, Sweet Baby Ray’s, and mustard into a pan and cook on medium heat on the stove.
Pour sauce over the meatloaf and bake another 15 minuites. Slice and serve!
