A whole new spin on classic Chicken Fried Steak!
Place steaks in a bowl and pour 2 cups of buttermilk over them and let sit for about 20 minutes. Season your flour with your spices and mix well, then drizzle in the remaining 1/2 cup of buttermilk and mix into the flour to form little clumps that will stick to the steak and make it extra crunchy.
Once your steak is done sitting in the buttermilk, take it piece by piece and coat it in the flour, then place it in a frying pan that’s been heated with about 1 1/2 inches of oil. Cook on each side about 6 minutes, or until done to your likeness. Drain your steaks and then move to a serving plate and spoon on heated up chili and sprinkle on cheese.
