My son’s godmother gave this recipe to me along with the spaghetti sauce recipe. She said it had been in the family for years. The combination of the two are just delicious, so simple and wonderful. I also use these in “Mom’s Meatball Stew.” Check it out, it’s in my Tasty Kitchen recipe box as well.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the crackers, milk, garlic salt, salt, pepper, parsley flakes and the egg. Mix until well combined.
Add the ground beef and the ground pork sausauge and mix thoroughly. (I usually use my KitchenAid mixer to do this, especially if I’m doubling the recipe.)
Form into meatballs keeping the size consistent. Broil on a foil-lined broiler pan for about 10 minutes, turning once.
Use the meatballs in stews, spaghetti sauce, or anything else that suits your fancy.
