Description

Perfect for autumn or a kids Halloween party!

Ingredients

  • 1-½ cup Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ⅓ cups Butter, Softened
  • ½ cups Creamy SunButter (or Peanut Butter, If You're Not Allergic Like Me)
  • ¾ cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ⅛ teaspoons Cardamom
  • Granulated Sugar, For Rolling In
  • 10 ounces, weight Bag Of Hershey's Candy Corn Kisses

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and prepare two baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together. Beat in the SunButter (or peanut butter) and then the egg and vanilla.

Add in the dry ingredients half at at a time, mixing until well-combined.

Roll the dough into balls about 1″ thick. Roll them in the granulated sugar.

Bake the cookies for about 10 minutes, and then let cool. Top each cookie with a Hershey Candy Corn Kiss!

So I cheated and used a Hershey’s Peanut Butter Cookie kit I bought at Sam’s Club – just mix up the kit and instead of the chocolate kisses I did these Candy corn ones! So cute and fally! The only problem I had was that with the milk chocolate kisses you can plop them onto the just out of oven cookie. They keep their shape. With the candy corn white chocolate kisses I found out you should wait just a little and let the cookie cool a little before plopping them on, because mine lost their shape/form from melting too much! Thanks for the great idea!

These were fabulous! I made them for my daughter and friends in high school for her birthday sleepover and all the girls loved them. The cookies melt in your mouth and have a delicious blending of butter, sugar, vanilla, and candy corn.

These turned out great. I couldn’t really afford the Cardamom but honestly they still turned out so good without it. Thanks for the tip about the kisses. I didn’t even know Hershey made these until you posted this!

Thank you so much for posting this! My little girl is allergic to peanuts so this is a perfect “peanut butter” Halloween treat!

tastymomma – I waited until the cookies were mostly cool (but not completely), and then pressed the Kiss into the top so that it wouldn’t fall out. Hope that helps!

Love this recipe. I thankfully can use peanut butter in it and it is a regular hit at family get-togethers! I may make the balls a bit smaller so I drop the time down to about 8 minutes.
