This soup was terrific and I didn’t expect it to be quite as good as it was. Dummy me, I sent a text to my husband to pick up the ingredients on the way home. I told him 2 cans of Potato Soup, not 3. I wanted to blame him, but alas the proof was there! Anyway, I used one can of Cream of Mushroom soup to cover my mistake. It turned out just great. I also added cayenne as some of us like things hotter here in Texas. Also, we toasted some Italian Bread and my husband buttered and sprinkled it with garlic powder. Then we place a piece in the bottom of the bowl, poured the soup over and couldn’t believe how good it was. I used the red potatoes as that was what I had in the pantry. This is a really quick soup and so easy to make. I will be making this a lot. My husband and I felt bacon pieces on top would be great too. Thanks Rachael.

Yummy! Thank you for this recipe! Even my picky daughter loved this soup. I doubled the recipe, using yellow potatoes, and adding 4 oz. of cream cheese. Also topped the bowls off with bacon and cheese.

Super easy and very yummy! I didn’t have the right cheese on hand, so we just shredded a block of colby-jack…still very tasty!

SO TASTY! Total comfort food! I used 6 smallish potatoes and 4 cans of potato soup (with 4 cans of milk) and it was delish! We topped it with bacon, chives, and sour cream and ate it with crusty bread, salad, and home-made chicken fingers made with toasted panko crumbs- very tasty- love this soup!

Was excited to try this recipe because it seemed so easy to make, plus lots of great reviews….but it was just OK for me. I love Outback’s potato soup and that’s what I compare all other potato soup’s, and it didn’t taste like Outback’s unfortunately….for me.

Yum. My first ever attempt at potato soup, thanks to you – a success! I added turkey bacon (a family fav around here) and a little garlic salt. Delish. Will definitely make again.

I LOVE this soup! Such a great recipe. My boyfriend requests this soup when it’s cold outside or when he’s sick – pure comfort food! I’ve made this twice, and the second time I added chopped cooked turkey sausage. So good.
