Same comment as before, since I like it every time I make it: My boyfriend worked at Olive Garden all of high school and college, I made this for him tonight! I asked him after what I should rate it and he said “FIVE STARS!” Thanks for the great recipe

This was incredible! It was my first time cooking with kale, and I do believe this may be a new favorite, go-to recipe.

Just as good if not better than Olive Garden’s! I added a little bit more cream than it called for because I really wanted it creamy and I live dangerously like that. 
Will definitely be making this often during the bitter Arctic, I mean Iowa winter, up ahead.

Great Soup, everyone loved it. I think next time I may add a can of canelli beans, just to bulk it up a little more.

This is such a delicious soup. I even used Chicken Sausage and Turkey Bacon to save a few calories. It was perfect! And my BF said it was better than any Olive Garden soup

Made this soup last night and it was incredible. I doubled the water and chicken bouillon and added more Kale. The whole family loved this. I served with fresh crusty bread and it was wonderful. This will go into my soup rotation for the fall/winter season.

This just might be my new favorite soup. I’ve never had it at the restaurant before, so I can’t compare it to that, but I can say that it was fantastic. I’ve never had kale before and was thrilled to find that it doesn’t have a very strong flavor. Thank you so much for sharing this. I’m sure it will be in heavy rotation in my menus this winter.

I made this soup tonight and took it over to my SIL house. Everyone, including my little nephew loved it!

My jeans are fitting a wee bit too tight these days, so I made this soup with a few adjustments: ground turkey instead of breakfast sausage, no bacon, and half and half instead of heavy cream. I added sage, ground savory, and thyme to make up for the spiceyness left out from the meat substitution. And it still tasted great! Who knew kale could be so much fun? I will definitely make it again without the healthy substitutions once my jeans fit better.

This soup was really delicious and a nice change from our usuals. I subbed whole milk from cream thinking my husband would never know the difference, but at the dinner table he said, “It’s really good, but it’s missing something…cream maybe?” Busted. Next time I’ll use cream! Thanks!

this soup is delicious. my husband and I loved it the first time we had it. I almost think the leftovers were better than when it was fresh! generally by the time leftovers are gone I’m ready to not have that dish for a while, but I was sad when we’d finished this soup. I will definitely make this again.

Needed to make something quick the other night, had everything on hand and made this,,,,we loved it!! It will become one of our fav’s. We love kale in soup and have made some very different ones this winter.
I had never eaten it at Olive Garden so didn’t have anything to compare, but this is good. Glad I found this site,,,,LOVE IT.
