Description

Potato and crab soup (mushrooms optional)

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Potatoes Diced And Pre-boiled
  • 1 pound Crab, Lump Meat (sqeezed Dry)
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • ⅓ sticks Butter
  • ½ quarts Whipping Cream
  • ½ quarts Half-and-half
  • ½ cups Green Onions, Chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Tony Chachere
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco

Preparation

Parboil Potatoes.

In a large pot saute onions in butter. Add Worcestershire sauce and crab meat. Simmer for 8 minutes.

Add spices, potatoes, cream, and half and half. (Add a jar of sliced mushrooms if desired.)

Reduce heat, stirring constantly.
Serve when heated thoroughly.
