Think making your own apple butter is difficult? Well, not anymore. It’s easy when you use your crock pot. This apple butter tastes MUCH better than anything you’ve ever had from a store.
Fill a slow cooker with all the ingredients. Cover and cook on High for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Reduce heat to Low, simmer, stirring occasionally for 9 hours or until thick and dark brown in color. (Leave the lid propped open so the mixture can cook down.) Use a hand blender to smooth everything out. If it’s not thick enough, cook for an additional hour. Keep refrigerated, or place into freezer containers and freeze.
I kid you not! Preheat a pan, prep the ingredients, and you can make this marina in just five minutes. If that’s still not quick enough, I’ll even throw a five-second version your way!
