Description

White Chocolate and Macadamia Nut Cookies are my sister’s favourite cookies. Since I am such a good sister, I make them for her as often as I can! This is the same recipe as my favourite chocolate chip cookie recipe but with white chocolate and macadamia nuts! I just love cookies so much! Try them!

Recipe inspired by Allrecipes.com, Best Big Fat Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe.

Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • ¾ cups Unsalted Butter, Melted
  • 1 cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • ½ cups White Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 whole Egg Yolk
  • 2 cups White Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Roughly Chopped Macadamia Nuts

Preparation

Start by preheating your oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper.

Sift together the baking soda, salt and flour. Set aside.

In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter and the sugars until well blended. Add in the vanilla, egg, and egg yolk and mix well until light and creamy.

Mix in the flour mixture until just blended. Stir in the white chocolate chips and the macadamia nuts by hand using a wooden spoon.

Drop cookie dough 1/4 cup at a time onto the prepared cookie sheets. Cookies should be about 3 inches apart.

Bake for 15 to 17 minutes or until the edges are lightly brown. Cool on a cooling rack a few minutes after they have been taken out of the oven.
Enjoy!
