Description

Layers of dark and white chocolate full of pretzel and toffee bits. The perfect combination of sweet and salty!

Ingredients

  • 14 ounces, weight Dark Chocolate, Finely Chopped
  • 7 ounces, weight White Chocolate, Finely Chopped
  • ¾ cups Broken Pretzel Pieces, Divided
  • ¾ cups Heath Toffee Pieces, Divided

Preparation

1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicon baking mat.

2. In a double boiler or in a microwave on low power, melt the dark chocolate, stirring until the chocolate is smooth. Remove from the heat, and stir in ½ cup of the pretzel pieces and ½ cup of the toffee pieces. Spread the mixture on the prepared baking sheet. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

3. Melt the white chocolate in the same manner as you did the dark chocolate, stirring until completely smooth. Remove the baking sheet from the refrigerator and spread the white chocolate on top of the hardened dark chocolate layer. Sprinkle with the remaining pretzel pieces and toffee, using your palm to lightly press them into the white chocolate. Return the pan to the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

4. Use a sharp knife to cut the bark into pieces. (I usually just press the tip of the knife into the bark and let it break into pieces/shards.) Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container.

Ok, this looks deliscious. And just like what I’m craving right now.

Definitely saving this recipe to my recipe box.

Really yummy! I made these for a chocolate and cheese party. Everyone liked them. I would suggest to make sure you get “regular pretzels” because I got bulk pretzels that didn’t have much salt (must’ve been low sodium) and I didn’t even taste them in there. Another thing is make sure to do everything at once. I did only the bottom one day and the top the next day, and when I cut it the pieces fell apart. Definitely not the recipe’s fault! Thanks again :)

This was great! I brought it to work, and it was gone by lunch. I had 3 people ask me for the recipe. One of my co-workers took a piece home to her husband, and he said he was going to camp out in our lobby until I turned over the recipe!

Thanks for sharing!
