Description

This cake is so easy to make, it works perfect every time, and you can substitute any flavor cake mix or pudding mix to change it up. This will make you a rock star at any party!

Ingredients

  • 1 box Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 1 box Chocolate Pudding Mix
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • ¾ cups Oil
  • ¾ cups Water
  • ½ cups Sugar
  • 4 whole Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together for about 3 minutes on high speed, and pour into liberally greased bundt pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Sift powdered sugar on top, or pour over your favorite chocolate ganache.

It’s also good with chocolate chips added to the batter. Change up this same recipe with any flavor cake mix or pudding mix you desire for many varieties. Enjoy!

Great cake! Very moist and flavorful, easy, easy too. I didn’t add the extra sugar, and I made a chocolate glaze for the topping. My husband was in chocolate heaven…to bad we were out of milk!

Very moist and tasty cake! Plus it’s so easy to make!! I have also made red velvet cake mix with cheesecake pudding mix version + white chocolate ganache for Christmas. It was really good. Combinations are endless! Thanks for sharing. This is a keeper!

Love this cake! I have made it many times. I made a half sheet of it for my daughters second birthday party and 25 people gobbled it up. I have one in the oven right now to take to a pot luck supper. Sometimes I’ll top it with a ganache and sometimes I’ll use icing. Either way it’s delicious.

This? Amazing. Comes out perfect every time (unless I fail to properly grease my bundt pan and all of its little nooks and crannies!) and is SO SO SO moist and flavorful. I’ve made it with a yellow cake mix and vanilla pudding too and was perfect.

Raves from my work crowd over this cake. Two things: I deliberated for a long time over which box of pudding to purchase, because there are several different sizes. Also, I used olive oil, and it definitely gave the cake an oily taste. I’d recommend using a different kind of oil.
