A great cut out recipe for any holiday or special celebration.
Sift dry ingredients (flour through sugar) together in a large bowl. Work in butter, then eggs and vanilla. Mix until well combined. Chill dough 30 minutes to make rolling easier.
Roll dough to 1/4 inch thick on a floured surface. Cut out desired shapes using a cookie cutter. Place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 10 minutes or until edges are beginning to turn golden. Cool. Store in airtight container. These freeze beautifully.
Makes about 6-7 dozen medium sized cut out cookies.
