Description

Easy, kid-friendly, cute and delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1-½ quart Ice Cream (any Flavor You Like)
  • 24 whole Chocolate Chip Cookies (I Used Chips Ahoy)
  • 2 bottles Chocolate Sprinkles (1.75 Oz. Size)
  • 48 whole Medium Sized Pretzel Twists
  • ¼ cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 bottle (1.08 Oz. Size) Mini M&Ms
  • Any Other Desired Candies To Decorate With

Preparation

Scoop some ice cream onto the bottom of a chocolate chip cookie. Top with another cookie and squish down so it sticks. (If some ice cream oozes out, take a butter knife and remove it so the ice cream is even all the way around the cookie.) Roll the ice cream edges in chocolate sprinkles and place each sandwiches into the freezer for 30 minutes to solidify again. Repeat this process until you have 12 spider bodies.

While spiders are freezing, break pretzels apart to get legs. You’ll need 8 legs for each spider. Microwave chocolate chips for about 30 seconds or until completely melted.

To assemble spiders, remove sandwiches from freezer. Dip a pretzel leg in chocolate and press it into place on the sandwich (see photo). Repeat until all legs are attached. Take two mini M&M’s or other candies, dip in chocolate and press in place for the eyes. Freeze another 5 minutes and serve.
