Description

I’ve always like the IDEA of S’mores: graham crackers, chocolate, marshmallows … yum. But, in reality, the suckers just aren’t that awesome. BUT I’ve always known deep in my heart that the combination should be just as good as it sounds … and now it is. Thank you, S’mores Cookies.

Ingredients

  • 3 sticks Butter, Cold And Sliced
  • 1 cup White Sugar
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 2-½ cups Flour
  • 2 cups Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 2 bars (6.8 Oz. Bar) Chocolate, Giant Sized
  • Mini Marshmallows

Preparation

Heat oven to 375 degrees. In a mixer, combine the butter and both sugars. Mix in the egg and vanilla until well combined. In another bowl, combine the flour, graham cracker crumbs, salt, and baking powder. Add to the mixer and mix well. Place dough balls on cookie sheets covered with parchment paper. Bake for about 8 minutes. Remove from the oven and press broken chocolate pieces (I used Symphony bars) and marshmallows into the cookies. Place them back into the oven for an additional 3 to 4 minutes. Let cool.

My kids and my husband loved them. I was worried about storing them for Christmas trays but so far they are “almost” as good as just out of the oven!!

One thing I just noticed is that there is a discrepancy in the recipe. On the ingredients list, it states Baking Soda, but when reading the directions it says Baking Powder.. Could be an issue for making these cookies!

I made these cookies for a party I was attending, and they went faster than anything else there. The graham cracker gave an added texture and the chocolate and marshmallows just melted so perfectly. I ate way too much, but so worth the trip to the gym! I can’t wait to make them again.

great flavor, but I think I did something wrong… my dough was really crumby and fell apart really easy.

I made these last night for the Superbowl, and even though our team didn’t win, everyone was too busy enjoying these cookies to care! The butter and graham cracker base was deliciously soft, and the additions of the chocolate and marshmallow just made it absolutely heavenly. Definitely one of the best cookies I have ever made, and not 1 single leftover!

SO good! Recipe made more than serving listed, but I didn’t mind! (maybe I made them a little smaller?) Mine didn’t take very long until I could tell they were about done, so I had to act fast with the marshmallows and chocolate. I got to one batch a tad too late, but they were still good! Very yummy!!

great flavor, but I think I did something wrong… my dough was really crumby and fell apart really easy. They also didn’t look so pretty. They weren’t as pretty as the picture but they tasted great!

Chewy, delicious, and absolutely impossible to just eat one. They were a hit as Christmas cookies and I’ll be making some more this week!
