Description

Crunchy, sugar-dusted nut balls that melt in your mouth!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter, Room Temperature
  • 2-¼ cups Sifted All-Purpose Flour
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • ¾ cups Grated Nuts
  • ½ cups Confectioners Sugar, Plus Extra For Rolling Cookies

Preparation

Mix all ingredients until well blended. Form into 1″ balls. Bake 14 to 17 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheeet in a preheated 400-degree oven. While balls are hot, roll in additional confectioners’ sugar. Cool, roll in sugar again. Makes 5 dozen.

These were just like I remember from childhood! I used roasted/salted pistachios for the grated nuts, and left out the salt (since the pistachios were salted). Super easy to make. I made a big batch for the refreshment table post recital. They were gone at the end, and got rave reviews!
