I have been trying different Snickerdoodle recipes for a long time trying to find the perfect ones and this are definitely the perfect ones! Everybody loved them!

Thank you so much for posting this recipe! I’ve tried so many different snickerdoodle recipes and this is the first one that has given me the snickerdoodle I remember from my childhood – perfectly crispy on the outside and moist and chewy on the inside. I’m hanging on to this recipe!

These snickerdoodles really are perfect! They were crisp on the outside and moist and chewy on the inside, sweet with just a little of that signature snickerdoodle bite. Snickerdoodles are my husband’s favorite cookie, he’s so glad I found this recipe.

These were exactly what snickerdoodles are supposed to be! Perfectly simple and delicious. I followed the recipe exactly, and was definitely happy with the results. Thank you for sharing!

So delicious! I made these with a few changes to the recipe: butter instead of shortening, a splash (~1 tsp) of vanilla, baking powder instead of cream of tartar, and replaced 1/3 of the flour with whole wheat flour. They came out very light and airy with a subtle flavor. I wasn’t sure what the ratio of sugar to cinnamon should be for the “mixture,” but next time I think I’d do a bit more cinnamon. Thanks for the great recipe!

I made these this weekend while I had some family in town and everyone loved them. Mine were a little on the crisp side (I love a chewy snickerdoodle), but I think I may have been making them a little smaller than called for. Either way – delicious.

These are the perfect Snickerdoodles! I made these the other day and my family and friends could not get enough of them. This will definitely be the recipe I use for snickerdoodles.

Just a note for those who have had bad results…you must use shortening (not butter) for the recipe to come out right!
