Description

This recipe comes from a friend of mine. My son (at age 6) asked her for the recipe when he tried them at her house. She was just a little amused … and sent the recipe home with him. They have been my kid’s favorite cookies ever since. They are devilish if you like peanut butter cups.

Ingredients

  • 1-¾ cup All-purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ cups Butter, Softened
  • ½ cups Sugar
  • ½ cups Peanut Butter
  • ½ cups Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1 whole Egg, Beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Tablespoons Milk
  • 1 package Miniature Peanut Butter Cups (approximately 40 Candies)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In small bowl, sift together the flour, salt and baking soda; set aside.

Cream together the butter, sugar, peanut butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add the beaten egg, vanilla and milk and mix until well blended. Add the flour mixture 1/3 at a time and mix until blended, but do not over mix.

Using a cookie scoop or a spoon, roll into 40 balls and place each into an ungreased mini muffin pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes.

Remove from the oven and immediately press a mini peanut butter cup into the center of each cookie. Cool and remove from the pan.
