Description

A quick chocolate mousse with marshmallows and evaporated milk that can be made on the stovetop or in the microwave.

Ingredients

  • 14 ounces, weight Marshamallows
  • 12 ounces, fluid Evaporated Milk
  • 4 ounces, weight Bar Of Good Dark Chocolate

Preparation

Start by melting (not cooking!) the marshmallows in a large pot over a medium heat. Once melted, add the evaporated milk and stir to combine. (This can be done in the microwave instead of the stovetop). Then, using a hand blender, blend the melted marshmallows and evaporated milk; this will incorporate some air into the mixture. Remove the pot from the stovetop, fold the chocolate into the marshmallow mixture and blend thoroughly. Using a soup ladle, spoon the mixture into 4 individual-size serving bowls and refrigerate until set. Enjoy with a cup of coffee—this dessert is sweet!
