This crunchy sweet goodness is intoxicating. Smoky, then sweet. Oh wait, what’s that? Ahh, a delicate smack of maple.

Three layer fudge that is simply divine. It’s a Christmas tradition at our house, but just as good any time of year.

Chocolate, almonds and mini marshmallows, all rolled into one bar of candy. Yum!

I’ve been searching for a recipe to simulate Reece’s peanut butter cups because my husband loves them … I made these last night and they were dead on!
I wasn’t sure whether it was calling for a 9×9 pan or a 9×13 pan. I used a 9×13 pan because I wanted them to have a thinner peanut butter layer than pictured. I also quadrupled the topping ingredients and used milk chocolate instead because my husband doesn’t like semi-sweet.
Next time, I might add a graham cracker crust, just so they’re a little easier to get out of the pan.
Regardless, they were a HIT! Thank you for posting

I am trying these tonight! I am glad someone mentioned using crushed cereal because I have a feeling I don’t have any graham crackers.

Update: I made this last night. I substituted creamy pb for crunchy (all I had), graham cracker crumbs with frosty flakes and semi-sweet chocolate with unsweeten (again all I had). To sweeten the chocolate I added powered sugar, more pb and a bit a butter.
I brought it into work this morning and everyone is raving about it. I have passed out this recipe and pointed people to the website numerous times already and its only 11am.
Thanks!!!

Mmmmm… These were delicious. Very rich. They remind me a lot of the peanut butter balls that my Granny always made during the Holiday season.

These are absolutely delicious. I think next time, I would probably use a little larger pan so the peanut butter layer is a little thinner. These are very rich. My favorite part is that it is made with my pantry staples. I always have all the ingredients on hand.

I made these yesterday and I all I have to say is “OMG THESE ARE AWESOME.” That being said, I would like to add that I loved the flavor but that the texture needed a bit of work. It turned out a bit too “crumbly” when I cut into it. I think it needs maybe a tbsp or two more of butter to hold together better. Otherwise, they were fabulously delicious. Reminds me of my Buckeye candy but in bar form…and ANY day I don’t have to roll those suckers is a good day. Thanks for posting this!
