Description

The best chocolate chip cookies ever. Cake-like and a favorite in my house. These require melted butter, so no creaming. You can have these in the oven in less than 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks Melted Butter, Cooled
  • ¾ cups White Sugar
  • ¾ cups Brown Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2-¾ cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 package (12 Oz. Bag) Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Mix the sugars into the melted butter. Add the eggs and mix well. Add the vanilla. Add the flour, baking soda, salt and mix well. When combined, add the chips. Bake in a 350-degree oven for 12 minutes.

These cookies are the best! They are so fast and the texture is perfect. I’ll admit when I put them on the pan I was skeptical on the texture but boy was I wrong!

I must have made these wrong. Mine were pretty flat, the bottoms were crispy and they weren’t very cakey! I will be trying again. It’s my first melted butter recipe, maybe I mixed it too long? We will see, I’m not giving up that easily! ;]

They were very good! My mom was a little worried about using melted butter because she has never baked cookies this way! They really are the easiest yummiest cookies Iv’e ever had! This really Is a “5 STAR!”

I was VERY apprehensive about baking cookies that started with melted butter. In my past experience the cookies spread and the chips float if you start with a warm base. I was sooooo happily surprised with the results! They are perfection in cookie form. I made my second batch in a week tonight for my daughter’s art club bake sale. Amazing recipe!! I love them:)

I finally ventured away from my tried and true CCC recipe and I’m so glad I did! This was so quick and easy to put together, tasted delicious and held such a great shape that these will be the ones I make for the school’s annual cookie walk!

I’m not sure what I did wrong with the dough because mine was thick (not thin like another’s review) and I had to keep pushing the chocolate chips in the dough but like every other review, they turned out great! The boyfriend reviewed them as the best cookies I’ve made. I really like the simplicity and ease of making these. A keeper recipe!
