These are very simple to make, and SOOOO yummy! The texture of the dough seems a little odd when you first mix it up, but stay with it – it tastes great! (I think it’s just the difference of melting the butter instead of creaming it.) They’re more of a ‘cakey’ cookie, which I love because they’re not as rich. And what’s cool is they always turn out perfectly round, no matter how you lump them on the pan! Great cookie, Bree -reminds me of my grandmother’s old choc chip cookies!

These are one of the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever tasted! They were fast and came out perfect. This is my go to recipe. THANK YOU!

These are very good cookies, not your typical chocolate chip cookies though. Very cakey, which I liked.
When I was making them, the dough ended up being very thin and i didnt think they would come out. I put em in and they started to puddle but I left em alone and they ended up coming out just like they should’ve.
Now I must find a container to hide them in.

Last night my want for chocolate chip cookies was too much for me to suppress. In fact, I’ve been craving chocolate chip cookies for a while but was afraid to turn on the oven given the time it normally requires and past attempts that have failed miserably. However, this recipe seemed wonderful and the results were even more so! The dough (pre-bake) alone was delicious (I froze some for future late night needs) and the cookies themselves were tasty! If you’re worried that they’re undercooked at 12 minutes do not fret, it’s the absolute perfect cooking time and the cookies comes out warm and moist because of it. Thank you, breehester!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I thought I couldn’t make chocolate chip cookies….they tasted fine, but always spread out and, well, didn’t look “pretty” enough to bring anywhere. But these – these are some pretty cookies! And they are delicious as well! My son will be able to take these to school without embarrassment…this will definitely be my new chocolate chip cookie recipe!

These were great! I loved that they used only one bowl and still turned out so well. This may be my new go-to recipe for chocolate chip cookies.

These are so easy and best of all my family just loves them. I shaped the dough into a big heart for Valentine’s Day and it came out great too!

I’m very happy with how these cookies turned out! I see myself making them a lot! I had this preconceived thought that because they were easy they wouldn’t be the best. They are big beautiful cookies that taste great. I added just a touch of vanilla sea salt to the tops. I do that to most of my chocolate chip cookie recipes.

I managed to make these while watching TV and while on the phone to a girlfriend, at 11pm. And I have an infant who is teething. So what I’m saying is, these are great! Easy, little clean-up, quick, and delicious!
Definitely a keeper. (Might add pecans or other add-ins if I’m feeling more energetic next time)

I was VERY apprehensive about baking cookies that started with melted butter. In my past experience the cookies spread and the chips float if you start with a warm base. I was sooooo happily surprised with the results! They are perfection in cookie form. I made my second batch in a week tonight for my daughter’s art club bake sale. Amazing recipe!! I love them:)

They were very good! My mom was a little worried about using melted butter because she has never baked cookies this way! They really are the easiest yummiest cookies Iv’e ever had! This really Is a “5 STAR!”

I must have made these wrong. Mine were pretty flat, the bottoms were crispy and they weren’t very cakey! I will be trying again. It’s my first melted butter recipe, maybe I mixed it too long? We will see, I’m not giving up that easily! ;]

These cookies are the best! They are so fast and the texture is perfect. I’ll admit when I put them on the pan I was skeptical on the texture but boy was I wrong!
