Description

Full of flavor and oh so gooey. The best double chocolate chip cookie you will ever try!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter, Softened
  • 1-½ cup White Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups Flour
  • ⅔ cups Cocoa Powder
  • ¾ teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • 1-¼ cup Chocolate Chips

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350˚F. Grease baking sheets or use parchment paper. (I love parchment paper. So much cleaner!)
2. In a large bowl, beat together butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
3. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Add to the butter mixture until well blended.
4. Mix in the chocolate chips.
5. Scoop and drop onto baking sheets.
6. Bake for 8-10 minutes (probably 10).

Enjoy the chewy, chocolatey goodness!

Note: Makes approximately 3 dozen cookies depending on size.

Delicious! Nice and fluffy, and not too rich. Just chocolatey enough! I followed the recipe exactly, and they turned out great. I think you could probably substitute different things for the chocolate chips, too, with great results (caramel bits, heath/toffee bits, etc.).
