This recipe turned out very well for me, especially considering I fudged (haha) the recipe a bit by not having enough chocolate chips! The result was so smooth I couldn’t believe I’d made it – perhaps because there was no extra sugar to dissolve? Either way I was very happy with the results – it was consumed by our family the first night!
Do give this recipe a whirl. If you’re a fan of nutella and/or sea salt, and like a smooth, not too sweet fudge, you’ll not be disappointed!

This is the only fudge that my husband has deemed worthy of him eating a second piece! So, so good, and so easy to make.

My whole family loved the dark chocolate flavor of this fudge. It was very easy to make, and the directions were perfectly detailed. I’ll definitely make this again and again.

This fudge got rave reviews at my company potluck. I am making another batch tonight to bring home for Christmas. Easy and delicious are my two favorite ingredients – thanks for sharing!

Wow! This was amazing, my husband doesn’t like fudge but can’t stay out of it. I made it to pack up for a gift but I’ll be needing a second batch!

This was fabulous, and super-easy to make. I lurrrrvvv Nutella.
The 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt was a bit much for me – I ended up brushing most of it off when I cut the batch into pieces. Whatever had clung during the cooling process was enough to give it a good bite. 1/4 to 1/8 of a teaspoon of salt probably would have been plenty for me.

Wonderful fudge! I brought it to a party this past weekend and it was a big hit. I had never made fudge before and it turned out perfectly – creamy and rich, not grainy at all!

Very easy to make. Recommend letting it set for a minute or two before sprinkling the salt. I used coarse sea salt and even then it started to dissolve.

HELP!I’ve made this twice and while it tastes HEAVENLY, my stupid butter keeps pooling on top! What am I doing wrong? Stirring too much, overcooking the chocolate?I’m not a bonehead in the kitchen and this is frustrating me to no end!

luvmychaos, it sounds to me as though your chocolate is separating, which typically happens when it melts at a too-high heat. Make sure the water (in the double-boiler) is not close to the bottom of the bowl and turn down the heat so that everything melts a little slower. I hope that helps!

Oh, my word. I’m imagining this with macadamia nuts chopped into it….

I tried making this and although it tastes divine, it’s super melty, almost like a slightly firm ganache. it’s very likely that it’s because i live in a tropical climate. woe is me. the fudge will probably end up filling some cupcakes or some other dessert, can’t let it go to waste!!

This is a fabulous recipe – a huge hit for 2 years running. I predict it will be THE annual fudge at our house!
