As others have noted in the comments, these spread WAAAYYY out so don’t use more then a Tablespoon per cookie (scant Tbsp is best.) Mine also became very dark. I found it helped to use the bottom rack of my oven, then they came out much prettier. But all were very tasty, so I’m not gonna worry too much about the dark color. I will make these again.

A little fragile, but the taste is enough to carry these chewy perfect cookies! I think the honey must be the secret! Thanks!

There was an error – SO sorry! I had 1/4 C less flour than there should be. I just re-posted with all the correct measurements.

Sorry, I just noticed all these comments now (a year too late!) I don’t think there’s an error in the recipe but I’m going to make these again today to double check!

Ok, ok… mine didn’t come out as beautiful as yours, BUT, hubby says don’t change a thing! “The best oatmeal cookies ever!” he said. They are delish!

I had the same problem with cookie spread – they tasted find but would not pass to serve to anyone by family. Please advise if there was an error in the recipe.

I had the same problem. They were more like lacy oatmeal cookies. They didn’t look anything like the picture. They tasted pretty good but I would make sure they are on the crunchy side if the cookies come out thin and lacy like this. Is there a typo in the ingredients?
