Description
These are fun and simple to make, great for taking to kid’s events. Take a malted egg and put it in the center to make it even cuter!
Ingredients
- 3 cups Rice Krispies
- 1 cup Coconut
- ⅓ cups Light Corn Syrup
- ½ cups Brown Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- ¾ cups Peanut Butter
Preparation
Combine Rice Krispies and coconut in a bowl.
Place light corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla and peanut butter in a pot and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat. Stir in cereal mixture.
Let cool for about 6 minutes. Shape into bird nests using a 1/4 cup measuring cup. Press mixture against sides of the cup and gently tap it out.
