Description

A simple but amazing blueberry sauce with a hint of orange. Made with frozen blueberries, this sauce will make Sunday morning pancakes, waffles, and French toast extraordinary!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Frozen Blueberries
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • ½ cups Water
  • 2 teaspoons Grated Orange Zest- Rind

Preparation

Cook blueberries, sugar, and water on medium-high heat for 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Turn heat off and stir in the orange zest/rind. Serve sauce immediately while warm. Just spoon onto your pancakes, waffles or French toast. Makes approximately 1 1/4 cups of sauce. Enjoy!

Made this and put it on crepes that I made. Very tasty. I also used some of the sauce in some oatmeal. Very good sauce and so simple.

This sounds YUMMY! I’m already a lover of blueberry pancakes, but I think I might like this more! Will have to try it soon…

Very yummy! I think I prefer this over having blueberries actually ‘in’ the pancakes, because you can control how much you eat with each bite. (Though I usually omit the orange zest…not a fan!)
