These dark chocolate brownies are lightly-sweetened with dates and packed with other Paleo perks such as coconut oil.

My daughter came home a few weeks ago talking about “peanut butter swirl brownies” she made with Grandma. “They’re so good Mom…you have to learn how to make them.” Last night I did. They’re easy and fun to make and they include plain yogurt (which my mom is capable of using in ingenious ways). They are pretty darn good. Thought I would share. Thanks Mom…my first Tasty Kitchen recipe!

Would you believe it if I said I’ve never made Blondies before? I’ve never eaten one either. I know—how horrible. That’s what you’re thinking, isn’t it? Because that’s what I’m thinking now that I’ve eaten one. Or a few. Or maybe one more than what “a few” means.

These brownies are slightly crispy outside, soft and cake-like inside. Best served warm with a dollop of stiffly whipped cream.

Super easy dessert for a sweet tooth. You can use any flavor jelly or jam – I just prefer grape.

Using less fattening ingredients makes this treat as good for you as it is good!

Very rich brownies, vanilla ice cream tastes very good along with these! You can use less sugar if you want to, since they get quite sweet.
