These are the BEST pancakes I’ve ever made! My kids ask for them multiple times during the week. I serve them with “icing syrup”. Awesome!

My husband and I went on a couples retreat this weekend and I made these for breakfast for everyone in our cabin. Needless to say, they will all be fighting over who gets to be in my cabin next year! Ha! These were AMAZING! Drizzled in Ree’s Maple Butter Icing – it was heaven on a plate. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe!

My family loves these! I mix them up the night before and they’re ready to go the next morning. My kids especially love the icing/frosting. I’ve changed them up a bit, subbing applesauce for half the butter. One time I did all applesauce and no butter and they were great.
I also substitute whole wheat pastry flour and ground up oatmeal for part of the flour. I end up with about a third of each. They are hearty and have great flavor.
Thanks so much for sharing these!

We LOVE these pancakes! They are a “Brinner” item in our house, we love cinnamon, and icing too! Very delicious and filling.

These are really good pancakes. I had to thin out the batter a little bit with some extra milk but otherwise they turned out perfectly.

This is, without a doubt, one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. And I’ve done LOTS of eating! Simply delicious.

I was shocked that something I made could taste this good- and I’m a decent cook! If you like to get away with dessert for dinner, this is your recipe.

Fantastic! We made the butter, powdered sugar and milk icing. We’ll be baking these again, for sure!

These are wonderful. I made a frosting/syrup to go with them. 3/4 cup powdered sugar, 2 tbsp melted butter, 2 tbsp milk and mix together. YUM! 8 thumbs up from my crew.

Great cakes. These are a great pancake to spice up the doldrums of the same old buttermilk pancakes every weekend. These were kid approved and wife approved. This one’s going in the box.
@calstitcher thanks for the frosting add.

Made them for dinner and they were loved by all! I thinned them with milk, as I like thinner pancakes, but they are just delicious!

Just made these for the fam. My son said “the best pancakes ever”. Next time, I’ll be sure to double as we had to mix up another batch. I have 2 boys, both with hollow legs!

I made these into mini-muffins instead of pancakes and baked them at 350 for 8 minutes. I served them with syrup and they were pretty tasty. My boys loved them! One batch made 39 minis.
