An easy breakfast meal fit for a group.
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Spray a 13×9 inch pan with nonstick spray. Slice French bread into 1/2″ thick slices. Set aside.
Fry slices of bacon, let cool and then chop into small pieces. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs and milk until evenly combined. Shred cheddar cheese, or other cheese of your choice, and set aside.
In the 13×9 pan, layer 1 slice of French bread on its end, placing 2 slices of ham next to it. Sprinkle on cheese. Layer another slice of French bread next to cheese and ham, like a sandwich standing on its end. Repeat process until all of bread, ham and cheese has been layered. Sprinkle chopped bacon on top. Pour milk/eggs mixture over the top of the whole pan of bread/ham/cheese.
Place in oven for 40-45 minutes or until egg is cooked through. Remove from oven and let rest for 15 minutes. Slice and serve.
Easy breakfast sandwich you just cook in the broiler in a few minutes! Also great on a whole grain bagel.
Nancy is the Coupon Clipping Cook, which means she not only has an astounding number of recipes to share with us (her TK recipe box is busting at the seams!) but she's also got loads of money-saving tips in her blog (she worked at a grocery store for a number of years, so she knows her stuff). She has some pretty amazing creations, like Roasted Garlic Potato Soup and Nutty Coconut Chicken. Go check them out!
Heather is a Texas native and the blogger behind Heather's Dish. She's mom to Weston, wife to Nate, and they live in Little Rock, Arkansas with their two "stubborn and saucy" dogs Bunker and Keira. In her blog, she shares her photographs, random musings (serious and silly alike), and all kinds of scrumptious recipes---and not just evil variations of her favorite mac and cheese. Her enviable TK recipe box is a testament to that. Go see for yourself!
