I made these last night as a trial before company comes this weekend. I didn’t have much luck the last time I attempted scones, but these turned out absolutely perfect! I cooked them the full 25 minutes (maybe a min or two over, as mine were a bit larger than what’s pictured). They are nice and firm on the outside, but light and airy in the center. The cinnamon morsels are sooo good inside. It was a good thing I bought an extra bag b/c my husband couldn’t stop eating them while I was preparing these! Will definitely make them again!! Can’t wait to share them with friends tomorrow morning!

I am eating one of these as I type! These are so delicious. I love how the topping gives a nice crunch as you bite in to the scone.

These were absolutely wonderful!
We ate them warm out of the oven tonight.
I made coffee to go with it, but my husband (who loves coffee) said they were so good he didn’t even need the coffee!!!
I will DEFinitely be making them again!!

I acutally used this recipe for orange cranberry scones and they turned out PERFECT! It’s a great basic scone recipe.

Sooooo good. I substituted fat free half and half for the heavy cream and they still came out great and I don’t feel as guilty eating them!

My parent’s make maple syrup, so I made these in the sugar bush with hot maple syrup poured over top…oh wow. Amazing. No other word.

Made these last night and they were so good. I had one dipped in my coffee this morning, what a way to start my day.

I’ve made these soo many times already. There’s literally 1 grocery store where I live that carries cinnamon chips and everytime we drive near it, my husband suggests that we stop and buy some (hint, hint!). I think he’d have me make these every week if he could. SOO GOOD!
