The cookie part was great and very yummy. I had issues with the mocha butter; my butter was softened and my coffee was cold but it was still a soupy mess…maybe I will use less coffee next time.

Very good. They just melt in your mouth!
I didn’t use nearly all my mocha butter. And I had a slight problem with that. I got my butter ‘too melty’, then poured the hot coffee over it. It was definitely a soupy mess. Had to let it cool for awhile before I could spread it.
Now I have to hide these so I don’t eat them all right away.

Made ‘em and ate em! YUM!
Here are my tweeks though- instead of rolling them out I formed them into balls and flattened them on the cookie sheet. I only got about 2 dozen that way but I made them a little bigger and thicker than I was suppose to I’m sure. I only used about half of the mocha butter even though I was generous on it with each cookie. Instead of melting chocolate chips for the top I used Nutella spread. I also omitted the pecan on top. Mine were not quite as pretty as the picture, but they sure were good!

These are AMAZING. Keep a wooden spoon on hand to bat the hands that try to steal them…

Oh my… Butter. Sugar. Coffee. Chocolate. Nuts.
My 5 favorite food groups — I definitely must try this ASAP…or sooner!

Just made these tonight! SO GOOD! Tip: don’t pour hot coffee directly onto butter as it will make a soupy mess!! Also, I just used espresso grounds and mixed it into room temp butter with a fork, then thinned out the butter with a few tablespoons of espresso. I topped mine with chocolate shell ice cream topping and froze them for a cool treat! =)
