Not sure where I went wrong with these, but they spread absolutely flat (pan was completely cool). I went back and added a couple tablespoons of flour to the remaining dough, and thoroughly refrigerated the dough & tried again. This time was better (also made them larger this time), although still doesn’t look to be the same consistency as the pic. Great flavor combo, but next time I’ll use cake flour & a little more of it, and chill the dough. Advice anyone?

Oh my gosh! I made these today and they are awesome! A great blend of flavors and textures. I added about a cup of walnuts as well and found I really didn’t need them. I didn’t make them quite as large as the recipe called for because I don’t like huge cookies, but I still baked them for 12 mins and they came out perfectly browned. These would make great exchange cookies or cookies for a party/pot luck.

These are my new favorite cookies…I’ve passed on this recipe to a ton of people in the last week. (I made them last weekend). I will never make a plain ole chocolate chip cookie again! WOW…thanks for sharing!

made these this morning and they are to die for. love the texture and how the flavors play off one another. They are a little on the large size, so I had to actually cook mine for 15 minutes. Next time I might try to make the cookies a little smaller. Definitely keeping this recipe! Thanks
