Description

Make your own breakfast sausage with this blend of spices.

Ingredients

  • 1-½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Rubbed Sage
  • ½ teaspoons Rubbed Summer Savory
  • ⅛ teaspoons Ground Nutmeg
  • ¾ teaspoons Marjoram
  • ½ teaspoons Ground Black Pepper

Preparation

Stir all ingredients together thoroughly. Store in an airtight container.

To make sausage: mix the spice blend thoroughly with 1 lb of ground pork.

Makes about 1 tablespoon + 3/4 teaspoon, or enough for 1 lb of sausage.

think i’m going to try this blend for a change on fried potatoes, onions, and peppers that i sometimes make as a one pot dinner, nice blend, thanks!
