Description

You can either make this recipe completely raw, or you can have it almost raw (with peanut butter instead). I prefer the peanut butter version, the raw version is REALLY good too. This is so simple to make, has NO ADDED SUGAR, and can be made with your favorite nut butter.

Ingredients

  • FOR THE BROWNIE LAYER:
  • 1-¼ cup Walnuts (soaked In Water For At Least 2 Hours, Drained Fully)
  • 1 cup Dates
  • ⅓ cups Cocoa Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Sea Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (optional)
  • 1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil
  • Water, If Needed
  • _____
  • FOR THE PEANUT BUTTER LAYER:
  • 3 whole Bananas
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter (or Other Nut Butter)
  • ⅓ cups Dates
  • ¼ cups Coconut Oil

Preparation

For the brownie layer, blend/process (in a blender or food processor) all ingredients together until smooth. If you are using a blender that is not very strong, add a bit of water (no more than 1/8 cup), and try blending the nuts, and dates separately first. Press the mixture into the bottom of a spring form pan, and set aside.

For the nut butter layer, blend/process all ingredients together until smooth. Pour over-top of the brownie layer, and set aside. Place in the freezer for about 3 hours. You want the nut butter layer to set (it will become sort of fudge like, but not completely solid)

Garnish with additional bananas, if desired. Enjoy!
