Description

A simple and easy homemade granola recipe featuring Nutella! Sweet. Salty. Satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 1-½ cup Quick Cooking Oats
  • 1 cup Brown Rice Puff Cereal
  • ¾ cups Chopped Nuts (pecans, Cashews, And Almonds Are My Favorite)
  • ½ cups Nutella
  • ¼ cups Plus 1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup
  • ½ cups Milk Chocolate Chips (optional)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 325 F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

Mix the oats, brown rice puffs, and nuts in a large bowl and set aside. In a small bowl, melt the Nutella and maple syrup together in the microwave (about 30 seconds). Stir until completely smooth. Pour Nutella mixture over oats and nuts and stir together with a rubber spatula until evenly coated.

Transfer to the prepared baking sheet, spreading it as thinly as possible. Bake for 30 minutes, stirring at each 10 minute interval. Remove pan from oven. Optional: Sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot granola (no need to stir). The chips will melt down a bit.

Let the granola cool completely. Please note that it will be soft when removed from the oven but it will crunch up when exposed to air. Mine took about 30 minutes to crunch up. Enjoy!
