Gluten- and grain-free, simple, quick and delicious! Warm, caramel-y bananas served over ice cream.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. When it’s melted, add the coconut sugar and stir it in. Add the coconut milk and blend thoroughly. Stir frequently as you add the spices, pepper, and stevia, cooking for about 3 minutes until the mixture is hot and bubbly and resembles a dark caramel sauce. Reduce the heat and add the banana slices and heat through. Serve in bowls over the ice cream and top with whipped cream if you like. Enjoy!
