I found this recipe on a box of Ronzoni pasta that grandma had in the freezer and thought I would give it a try. I changed it up some, added bacon and used fresh shredded Romano cheese.
Slice bacon into 1/4 inch slices. Saute the bacon with the onion and garlic on medium heat in a medium sized pot until tender but not browned.
Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add pasta, nutmeg and pepper; simmer for 5 minutes. Add spinach and simmer for 5 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
Top each bowl with some cheese and enjoy!
