Description

A spicy soup that is hearty and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Water, Divided Use
  • 1 cube Beef Bouillon
  • 1 whole White Onion, Diced
  • 2 cups Green Bell Peppers, Chopped
  • ¼ cups Fresh Jalapenos, Thinly Sliced
  • 1 cup Assorted Color Sweet Peppers, Chopped
  • 1 package (14 Oz. Size) Pre-Cooked Smoked Sausage, Sliced (or Feel Free To Use Italian Sausage)
  • 2 teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic Salt
  • ¼ cups Seasoned Bread Crumbs
  • 2 cups Tomato Sauce

Preparation

Add 3 cups of water, bouillon cube, onion, green peppers, jalapeno peppers and sweet peppers to a large pot on the stove and turn it on a medium heat. Allow this to cook for about 15 minutes until the vegetables start to become semi-tender.

Add sausage, red pepper flakes, garlic salt, breadcrumbs, additional 1 cup of water and tomato sauce. Stir well and allow to simmer on low for another 10 minutes.

Serve hot and enjoy! Feel free to garnish with cheese. I used shredded pepper jack cheese on mine, along with a side of crusty bread.
