Description

A 30-minute chili that tastes like it took hours!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Pork (I Used The "hot" Variety)
  • 1 whole Red Onion, Chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cumin
  • 1 Tablespoon Smoked Spanish Paprika
  • 2 teaspoons Chili Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Each, Salt And Pepper
  • ⅓ cups Red Wine
  • 2 cans (14 Oz. Size) Fire Roasted Tomatoes With Garlic
  • 2 cans (14 Oz. Size) White Beans
  • 1 can (14 Oz. Size) Hominy
  • Sour Cream For Garnish

Preparation

1. Brown meat in a large pot; when done, drain excess fat.

2. Add onions and garlic to the pork and saute over medium-high heat until translucent (about 3 minutes).

3. Add seasonings and saute for 1 minute. Add red wine and cook for another 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, beans, and hominy. Cover and cook over medium-low heat for about 15 minutes (longer is ok, too)!

4. Top with sour cream and serve!

This chili is really spicy and flavorful. I’ve made it 3 times and have passed the recipe along to friends who’ve requested it.
