This is a really yummy soup that my non-soup eating husband loves. Trust me that the combination of ingredients really does work!
In a heavy-bottomed pan, cook the celery and carrots in melted butter until soft. Add the leeks and cook until they are softened. Add the cabbage and sauté until wilted.
Pour in the chicken stock/broth and potatoes. Cook until the potatoes are tender and add sliced kielbasa.
Add 1/2 teaspoon of marjoram and salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer for 10 minutes.

It was great! As soon as my husband finished supper, he said, “I know what I’m having for lunch tomorrow.” I did add 2 cans of white navy beans for him, but it was perfect without them. We will definitely have this again.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Will make it tomorrow and come back to review. I have everything on hand! Don’t even have to go to the store. Woo Hoo!

Is the kielbasa smoked (precooked) or fresh (raw)?
