A thick, hearty soup that will warm you up all the way down to your toes!
Put potatoes, onion, water, salt and celery seed in a Dutch oven. Bring to boil. Cover, turn to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until it cooks down to a thick puree, about 30 minutes. In the meantime, brown sausage in a frying pan. Drain fat. When potatoes are done, add sausage and parsley. Heat milk in small saucepan or microwave and add to the potato mixture. Add more or less depending on how thick you like your soup. Serve and enjoy!
